What We Do

Home / What We Do

The SHIVAAA Foundation works in sustained, direct partnership with tribal communities across the Palghar district. Our approach is participatory: we listen carefully, co-design solutions with the communities we serve, and provide long-term accompaniment rather than short-term interventions. Over 500 villages in the Wada region have benefited from our community development programs spanning health, education, livelihoods, and cultural well-being.  By being a facilitator between govt scheme & private & corporate intuitions.

Focused on reducing school dropout rates and improving learning outcomes among tribal children through supplementary education and digital literacy initiatives.

Agriculture is the foundation of the communities we serve. SHIVAAA introduces modern farming techniques alongside traditional knowledge to help tribal farmers achieve greater productivity, better incomes, and more sustainable land use. Our campus in Wada serves as a working demonstration farm where residents learn organic cultivation, composting, water conservation, and crop diversification before implementing these practices in their own fields. We also create market linkages that allow farmers to earn dignified livelihoods.

Uses sports as a tool for behavioural change and de-addiction among tribal youth, fostering discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

Creates sustainable livelihood opportunities within the community through skill development and ecosystem-based income generation models.

Aims to build eco-friendly, zero-waste village models by promoting sustainable practices and circular economy solutions.

Improves access to basic healthcare and nutrition for underserved tribal populations through preventive and primary health interventions.
